About the site
Sitting beside Wooler Water, the park is great for peaceful riverside walks, while the coast and Bamburgh Castle are around 30 minutes away for easy day trips. With plenty to do onsite, you will be spoilt for choice with things to do! The camping pods are simple and great for a back-to-basics stay. Inside, each wooden pod has an electric socket and lighting, but guests will need to bring their own beds, bedding and cooking kit, just like traditional camping. Outside, every pod has a small deck and a picnic bench, giving you space to sit out and enjoy meals in the fresh air. Shared toilets, showers and washing up areas are also just a short walk away. The park also offers electric hardstanding touring pitches, as well as static caravans and lodges. Guests can splash about in the indoor swimming pool, let the kids burn off some energy in the playground, or head to the games and arcade room. During busier times of the year, the park puts on seasonal entertainment, including shows, quizzes and family activities. When it's time to eat, the Riverside Bar and Restaurant is open daily for lunch, dinner and takeaways, with a small dog-friendly bar area too. BBQs are allowed as long as they're raised off the ground, but open fires aren't permitted. Dogs are very welcome here, with the camping pods allowing up to three dogs, making this a great choice for guests who want to bring their four-legged friends along for the adventure!
