About the site
An ideal location for exploring Northumberland and the scenic North Pennines National Landscape. Onsite you can enjoy great views of Langley Dam with fishing (small extra cost) available too. The site has a variety of pods to choose from, sleeping either four or five. Bare Bones, Blackleugh and Wheatley's all sleep up to five with a king size bed with a small fold down single bunk (for kids under 10), along with a king size sofa bed. The Wonneys and Rushy have the exact same minus the single child's bunk. Humbleton is an accessible pod and includes two fixed single beds, one with side access, plus a king size sofa bed. There is a wheelchair accessible shower room with floor level shower tray, a higher toilet seat and grab rails. Inside there are 1.5m turning circles where required, plus ramp access outside. Every pod includes a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, double electric ceramic hob and an oven with a grill. There is also an ensuite with a shower, toilet and hand basin. For year round stays, there is a heater, a smart TV, a DVD player and a folding table and chairs so you enjoy cosy nights indoors. Step outside and you will find your own private decking area with a small table and chairs. To the side of the pods, there are fire pits with stool seating and fire packs with wood, kindling and firelighters can also be purchased (all fuel burnt on the fire pits must have been purchased from the site). Cabins Humbleton, Rushy Lot, Wheatleys and Blackcleugh also have the option of a wood-fired hot tub for your stay. Do note, the pods come without bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. However, there is an option for a 'fully furnished upgrade' upon booking which will then mean these are included. Humbleton, Rushy, Wheatley's and Blackcleugh are all dog friendly, with up to two pups permitted per pod.
