A quiet, family friendly base in the Hertfordshire countryside, just ten minutes from Hoddesdon. The site is surrounded by scenic walking and cycle trails, with bike hire available onsite to explore local highlights such as RSPB Rye Meads (10 minutes) and River Lee Valley Country Park (15 minutes). There are a selection of camping pods onsite to choose from. Four Wee Brave Wigwam pods sleep two, each equipped with a convertible sleeping platform, a kitchen area with a kettle, small fridge, and microwave, plus a TV, electricity, and heating. Outside, enjoy a private decked area with a picnic table. Bedding is not included. For a little more comfort, there is a two bed Wee Brave Wigwam pod with the same interior facilities, plus the option to bring dogs. An accessible Wee Brave Wigwam pod is also available for two, equipped with a convertible sleeping platform, a kettle, a small fridge, a microwave, a TV, electricity, and heating. Both dog friendly and accessible pods have a private deck with a picnic table and require guests to bring bedding. For larger groups, the 'Big Chief' Wigwams are a great option, accommodating up to four and are available in dog friendly, accessible friendly, or pet free options. Interiors feature a seating area converting to a sleeping platform, a kitchen area with a small fridge, a small electric hob, a toaster, a microwave, a kettle, a frying pan, a chopping board, a heater, and a TV. Heating and electricity are included. Outside, each has a private deck with a picnic bench. Bedding is not included. Parking is available by the pods. Guests should bring their own toiletries, bedding, towels, and crockery. Firewood, a high chair, a cot, and charcoal are available to hire. There is a range of camping and touring pitches onsite. Please note that bathroom facilities are also shared with other campers onsite. Relax by the riverside with a spot of fishing, pick up essentials at the onsite shop, or head out for watersports on the Lee Valley River, with the nearest launch point just a 25 minute walk away. If you are staying on a Friday, be sure to visit the fish and chip van! Rye House train station is a 30 minute walk away, offering direct trains to London Liverpool Street. Up to two dogs are welcome in pet friendly Wigwams. Fire pits and BBQs are permitted onsite, but must not be placed on decking. Or, the site has both available to hire, too!
