About the site
Within 30 minutes of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines, this family run glamping site offers an ideal countryside getaway. Owen's farm shop is also onsite, offering the perfect place to grab some local produce or enjoy a spot lunch or a full English breakfast. The glamping pods sleeps up to four with a double bed and double sofa bed, whilst the lodge has an additional single bed allowing up to five. The Grand pod can accommodate up to four but instead has a separate private double bedroom with a double sofa bed. All include memory foam mattresses, but bedding is only provided for those staying in the Grand. Every pod features its own small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, hot plate and sink. All of your usual essentials like bowls, mugs, tumblers, cutlery pots and pans are included. For eating together, the pod has a dining table and four chairs, whilst the lodge includes two chairs and the Grand has a breakfast bar and two stools. All the pods have their own private ensuite featuring a shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. Towels are only provided for those in the Grand, all other guests will need to bring towels along with them. A heater means everyone can stay nice and warm, no matter the weather outside. You will also have your own TV and a local information pack for planning your travel itinerary. The pod and lodge both have their own private patio with a picnic bench and a fire pit/BBQ for evenings under the stars. You can also add an optional wood-fired hot tub to your stay to make it extra special. For the ultimate luxury, the Grand has a patio with a covered bath and fireplace! Every pod is dog friendly too, with up to two pups permitted per pod.
