Situated in the scenic Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, just 15 minutes from Wrexham, this site is an ideal base for families and couples seeking an outdoor escape. Walking routes begin close by, including the Llangollen Canal Towpath (10 minutes) and Panorama Walk (20 minutes). National Trust Chirk Castle, Chirk Aqueduct and Viaduct are five minutes away, and the iconic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a ten minute drive away. Sleeping four, there are four modern Deluxe Ensuite Pods, each featuring a double bedroom and a cosy living area with a double sofa bed. Bedding is provided. The furnished interiors include a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with cooking equipment. Pods also include WiFi, gas and electric, a wardrobe, desk and TV for relaxing in the evenings. There are seven larger Superior Ensuite Glamping Cabins, comfortably sleeping up to six guests (maximum four adults). These offer the same facilities as the Deluxe Pods, but with a king-sized bedroom with a sliding door, a fold-out double sofa bed and a twin mezzanine bunk area. Bed linen is provided for four guests, with six duvets and pillows available. In addition to the standard kitchen facilities, the cabins also include a dishwasher. Both glamping options have an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower (please bring your own towels, or you can hire some). Outside, each unit is a private decking with outdoor furniture and a boot box for muddy shoes. BBQs are permitted on the brick BBQ stand, with a complimentary disposable BBQ provided. Open fires are not allowed, however, guests can use the communal fire pit in the glamping area for evening gatherings. Please ensure you remember to bring toiletries such as hand soaps and sanitisers as well as a hairdryer. There is also a children's playground, a launderette and EV charging points available onsite. For dining out, a 15 minute walk leads to local pubs, cafes and tearooms. Please note that alongside the pods and cabins, the site also offers camping pitches and safari tents. Communal facilities are shared with other campers and glampers. Sorry, dogs are not permitted in the pods or cabins. However, camping pitches and some other glamping units are dog friendly, so you may see pups onsite.
