About the site
Set on a working sheep farm, this rural glamping site is a great spot for families wanting to escape the everyday and get back to nature with the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean within 20 minutes and Offa's Dyke Path only five minutes by car. You'll also have the shops and restaurants in Monmouth within easy access. There are just two glamping pods surrounded by pretty shrubs and mown grass. The pods are set on terraced land and separated by a wicker fence for your privacy. The pods both sleep up to five, all on proper beds, with two double beds and one single bunk above one of them. Bedding and linen are provided so no need to pack your own. The pods are heated and open plan, with WiFi and a comfy sofa by the French doors so you can admire your view from the warmth of the pod. There is also a dining table for enjoying a meal or getting your competitive spirit out with a game or two. You can prepare simple meals in your kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, two electric hobs and a small fridge/freezer. All of your crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided as well as salt and pepper. At the back of the pod is your ensuite with a toilet, shower and wash basin. Towels are not provided, but you are able to hire some for £3 per person, but please note that these should not leave the site, so if you are heading to the beach or river for wild swimming, please bring your own towels for this. Outside your pod is a gravel area with a picnic bench, and you have the option to hire a Kadai bowl fire pit for nights around the campfire. This comes with two kindling rolls, two bags of logs, toasting forks and giant marshmallows. Willow pod allows your dog to join you for your stay for a £20 per stay fee. Please ensure that dogs are not left in the pods unattended.
