About the site
This quiet, family run touring park is set in the grounds of Plas Gwyn House down a private drive, the site offers a fantastic base for exploring North Wales with Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Anglesey and Caernarfon within easy reach by car. There are three camping pods onsite set in a small copse of trees between the touring and camping pitches, the site nicknames these 'Timber Tents' as they are the perfect option for those who want a camping experience without the hassle of tent pegs or the risk of facing British weather! Each pod is fully insulated and is heated to keep you cosy, there is a step that takes you to your stable-style door with a window which leads you into your pod. Inside there is a double mattress and two singles, please bring your own bedding and linen or sleeping bags and pillows as they are not provided. Inside the pod is a kettle for your morning brew and a fridge for storing simple snacks and provisions, if you wish to cook you will need to bring your own cooking equipment. Or, bring a BBQ and enjoy al fresco dining on your picnic bench as the sun sets. Please note that fire pits and open fires are not permitted. Toilets, showers and washing facilities are located in the shared facility block just a short walk away with hair dryers, shaving points and a laundry room. There are also a selection of touring and camping pitches as well as some static caravans onsite who all have access to the shared facilities too. Dogs are welcome too with up to two permitted per pod.
