Brook House Farm

On the banks of the River Severn, Brook House Farm offers a family friendly stay on the England/Wales border. Each of the glamping lodges sleeps up to four, furnished with a double bed, double futon bed and a small kitchen area with essential appliances like a kettle and microwave. There is also The Old Potting Shed, a cafe/bar where you can enjoy tasty food and drink. Fishing is also available in the onsite fishing pool or river!

Located on the England/Wales border, this is a welcoming base for families and couples alike. The countryside setting gives you plenty of space to relax, with riverside walks and fishing right on the doorstep, while Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Welshpool are within a 20 minute walk. There are three wooden cabins, each sleeping up to four people with a main double bed and an extra double futon sofa bed. Bedding is provided for the double, while guests bring their own for the futon. Inside, you'll find a small kitchen area equipped with handy essentials like a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, crockery, and cutlery. Electricity is included, so you can cook, make a morning drink, or just charge your devices with ease. Each cabin has its own small veranda with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying views of the surrounding countryside. Toilets and hot showers are just a short stroll away, and you can hire a fire pit for cosy evenings under the stars. BBQs are also allowed, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Alongside the cabins, the site is also home to touring and camping pitches, plus bell tents and camping pods. Facilities include fishing (available at extra cost) either in the site's own pool or on the riverbank, and the much-loved Old Potting Shed café-bar. Here you can tuck into homemade cakes, light lunches, afternoon teas, and a wide choice of drinks. There's also a shop with local produce, gifts, and everyday essentials. The cabins are pet free, though dogs are welcome in the rest of the site.
