About the site
If you're looking for a tranquil countryside retreat then this is the site for you. This adult-only site is set in the quiet Shropshire countryside next to Colemere Lake with the Wood Lane Nature Reserve a 15 minute walk away and Ellesmere a five minute drive! Both the Badger and Otter camping pods sleep up to two guests with a comfy double bed. Please just make sure to bring your own bedding! These camping pods are even perfect for the colder months as they are fully insulated and heated with double-glazed windows. There is lighting, electricity and a TV inside. Evenings can be spent sat on the sofa tuning into your favourite shows! Inside there is also a kettle, mugs and tea and coffee making facilities so you can enjoy your morning cuppa. Outside is a small decking area with two chairs so you can sit back and take in the country views. The site also offers a range of grass pitches, a shepherd's hut and a yurt. Guests are also welcome to hire the site's wood-fired hot tub which is located lakeside and is the perfect choice for those looking to holiday in style! Fire pits are also available to hire if you're looking to toast some marshmallows. If you're keen to meet your fellow campers and glampers, along with the well-equipped communal kitchen, the site has created a fantastic social area. If you're there in the winter, there is a covered area with a TV and wood-burner, while if you're there when it is a bit warmer there is also an open air space too! Your canine companions are welcome to join you with up to two pups allowed per pod! If you're after dinner al fresco, BBQs are permitted please just make sure they're raised off the ground. Open fires are only permitted in fire pits hired from the site.
