Set in the heart of Cheshire, Pitch and Canvas is a family friendly campsite, only 20 minutes from Chester. Both camping pods are dog friendly and come with heaters, kettles, picnic benches and fire pits, with one also including a proper double bed, bedding and cooking equipment. The site is home to a range of camping pitches and yurts too. For days out, The Ice Cream Farm, Beeston Castle and The Crocky Trail are all within a ten minute drive!

About the site
An ideal spot for all of your Cheshire adventures. Just 20 minutes from the charming city of Chester, there is so much to explore nearby. Within a ten minute drive, you can find The Ice Cream Farm, Tattenhall Marina Beeston Castle and The Crocky Trail. The Oak pod is a great option for families, kitted out with a proper double bed and two single futon beds. Bedding and cushions are provided for the double only, so please bring any extra bedding required. Inside the pod, you'll find an electric heater, a small fridge and essentials like crockery, cutlery, glassware, and a kettle. Bedside storage and a lamp are also next to the double. The Acorn is a more simple camping pod with two single camp beds (bedding not provided). It also features a wall-mounted heater, a side table, a cool box and a kettle for making hot drinks in the morning. Both pods include an outdoor area that features a decking, complete with a table, chairs, and a fire pit for evenings toasting marshmallows. Shared campsite toilet, shower and washing up facilities can be found nearby. The camping/touring pitches and yurts will also have access to these. The site is dog friendly, with up to one four-legged friend allowed to join you for your stay.

Check-in is available between 3:30pm and 7pm, if you are going to be delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 10:30am.
Are the pods at Pitch and Canvas dog friendly?
Yes, one dog is permitted per pod, please ensure that dogs are clean and dry before entering your pod. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa are not permitted.
Does my pod at Pitch and Canvas include a BBQ or fire pit Or will I need to bring my own?
Yes, your pod includes a fire pit so no need to bring your own!

Are bedding and towels included in the pods at Pitch and Canvas?
In the Oak camping pod bedding is provided for the double bed only, you will need to bring your own bedding for the two single futons. In the Acorn camping pod bedding is not provided so please bring your own. Neither pod provides towels.

Yes, there are a selection of grass and hardstanding pitches as well as two static caravans.

Yes, there is parking beside your pod.

No, sorry toiletries are not included in your pod so please remember to bring your own.

No, your pod does not have an ensuite but you have access to the shower and toilet facilities just a short walk away from the accommodation.
