Lahtlewood Glamping

A small and peaceful glamping site, Lahtlewood Glamping is within 20 minutes of the North York Moors and the coast. The site offers four types of off-grid glamping pods, each type being tucked away in its own grassy glade. Everyone will have proper beds, bedding, a private shack-style bathroom and an outdoor kitchen. Some even include wood-fired hot tubs! Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay, with a country pub a 30 minute walk away too.

Switch off and unwind at this family run glamping site. For days out, the site is within a 20 minute drive of Pickering, Flamingo Land Resort, Scarborough, the coast and North Yorkshire Water Park! All of the pods here are off-grid. There are four different types of pods, each split out into their own grassy glades. Pheasant pods sleep up to four with two single beds and a double bed tucked behind a privacy curtain. Peewit pods can accommodate up to six with two sets of bunk beds and a double bed (also behind a curtain). For couples, the Owl pods are great, kitted out with a raised king size bed with underbed storage, plus a living area with bench seating and a pull out dining table. The Woodpecker pods also sleep two with a double bed and a sitting area. Each glamping unit includes bedding, hot water bottles, blackout blinds, a dustpan and brush, and a rechargeable torch. Everyone has their own private bathroom shack just outside (Woodpecker is ensuite) with a toilet, hand basin and shower powered by a wood-fired boiler. You will be provided with two toilet rolls, a squeegee for the shower, a floor cloth, a pedal bin with a bin liner, and a shower duck-board. For cooking, you will have an outdoor kitchen with a Cadac gas two ring cooker, 12kg gas bottle, griddle and frying plates, sink with washing up bowl, outdoor brush, cool box (with one bag of ice), and a kitchen bin with two bin bags. Essentials such as washing up liquid, a sponge, a lighter, a bag of firelighters, a box of kindling, small logs for the shower boiler, and a fire hose are also provided. Cutlery, two pans with lids, a kitchen knife, a kettle, a chopping board, a can opener and a bottle opener are also provided. Other items such as spatulas, a tea towel, side plates, dinner plates, breakfast bowls, mugs, plastic tumblers, plastic wine glasses, scissors, and tongs are included. Each pod comes with an outdoor dining area with a cable reel-style table and stools. To protect you from the summer sun, there is a parasol. A fire pit with a BBQ griddle, BBQ tongs and a BBQ poker are also included. Owl and Woodpecker pods include private wood-fired hot tubs with logs provided. You can even add pre-arrival heating to your booking so you can soak away the stresses as soon as you get there! Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two pups permitted per pod.
