Located in the scenic Forest of Dean, Whitemead Forest Park offers a fun-filled getaway for all ages. Explore the array of onsite activities, including a swimming pool, gym, sauna, adventure golf and sessions such as teddy bear making and sea scooters. There is an onsite restaurant, bar and even a coffee shop. The glamping pods include a kitchenette, ensuite toilet, heating and TV, plus there are a range of camping/touring pitches too.

About the site

Dive into the indoor swimming pool, unwind in the sauna and steam room, or get active in the fully equipped gym. Little ones will also love the adventure play area and seasonal activities, with sessions such as archery, water walkers, water polo and teddy bear making! Each of the site's 12 Mega glamping pods feature a comfortable double bed and a corner sofa that converts into another double bed, with all bed linen provided. Inside, you'll find an ensuite with a toilet and wash basin, whilst shared showers are just a short walk away (other camping guests will have access to these). Be sure to bring your own towels and toiletries! The pods have a small kitchen area equipped with a sink, toaster, kettle, fridge, and microwave, as well as crockery and cutlery for up to four people. To keep you nice and cosy, there's a TV, electric heater, plug sockets, and lighting. Outside, there is a picnic area for dining. If you want to enjoy some outdoor cooking, raised BBQs are permitted. Plus, there's parking for one car allocated in the site car park. Some of the pods are also dog friendly, allowing up to two pups to join you for your stay. The site offers a range of camping and touring pitches, along with an additional range of camping/glamping pods, log cabins and woodland lodges.

Site facilities include toilets, showers, a family bathroom, laundry rooms and washing up points. There is also a shop, bike wash and a BBQ and picnic area.

Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. Guests can enjoy Foresters Bar and the Wild Boar Coffee Shop, as well as a basketball court and indoor and outdoor children's play area. There is an on-site shop and free WiFi.

You are able to check-in from 2pm until 9pm, if you are going to be delayed, please let the site know. Check out is due before 11am on your final day.
Yes, there are three mega glamping pods which are dog friendly and allow up to five dogs to join you for your holiday for a small charge. Dogs must be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended, and breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted. If you would prefer a dog free stay, there are nine pods which do not allow dogs, however, you may still see dogs onsite as the camping pitches are dog friendly.
When you arrive, please head to reception to check in.
Your pod does not include a BBQ or a fire pit but there is a communal BBQ area that you can enjoy!
