About the site
Whether you want to spend days unwinding, exploring the surrounding walking routes or kayaking and wild swimming in the onsite lake, there is something for everyone. There are also plenty of nearby amenities in Builth Wells (15 minutes), with the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) 30 minutes away too. All of the self-contained glamping pods can sleep up to four guests, great for both couples and families. There is a proper double bed, a double sofa bed and bedding is provided. For cooking meals whilst you're away, there is a fully equipped kitchenette with a two ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery, pans and utensils. There is also a dining table and four chairs for eating together, plus a George Foreman grill/toastie maker for making a delicious lunchtime treat! So you stay nice and comfortable all year round, each of the pods features heating and a fan so you can be just the right temperature. Electric, WiFi and a TV are included so you will have all of your home comforts. Every pod has its own modern ensuite with a flushing toilet, shower, hand basin and heated towel rail. Do note, towels are not provided so you will need to bring these with you. Outside you can admire your lakeside views with a private patio featuring a picnic bench and a fire pit/BBQ with some fencing so it still feels nice and private. Some of the pods also have wood-fired hot tubs! There are also dog friendly pods available, allowing you to bring up to two pups to join you for your stay. Other extras available include moon chairs for unwinding outdoors, firewood and additional kindling.

On the day of arrival at Beacons Bluff Escapes, you will receive an email with directions from the main road, your pod name and its location onsite. Your name will be displayed on the welcome board at the back of your pod, where you can park. If you do not use email, contact the site in advance. Check-in is contact-free, and you will find the key in the door upon arrival. When departing, please leave your pod clean and tidy. Ensure all rubbish and recycling is sorted and placed in the appropriate bins outside. Please empty the fridge and wash, dry and put away any used crockery, cutlery and cookware. If you have an outstanding balance for any extras purchased during your stay, this must be settled before you leave. Before departing, please leave the key in the door of your pod.
