About the site
Set on a two acre field surrounded by 50 acres of woodland, you can expect a restful night's sleep at this beautiful glamping site on the Llŷn Peninsula. You'll be just minutes from sandy beaches and seaside villges for days out - or simply sit back and enjoy the sound of bird song. There are seven pods set around the perimeter of the field, Porth Iago and Porth Ferin pods sleep up to two guests with a king-sized bed and a log burner. These two pods are number two and three from the facility block and only a few feet from the communal kitchen. The other five pods sleep up to four guests with a double bed and a double sofa bed. These pods also feature underfloor heating. Porth Wisgi and Porthorion are located number six and seven from the facility block and are a few yards from the communal kitchen. Porthor and Porth Neigwl have the addition of an ensuite with a toilet and sink. Shower facilities are shared and located in the communal block. These pods are located number four and five from the facility block and a few yards from the communal kitchen. Finally, Porth Ysgo pod has accessible features suitable for disabled individuals or young families, with ramp access for wheelchairs and prams. Plus, the door to the pod is 1065mm wide and the path leading to the pod is 1.2m wide. This pod is the closest to the facility building and the communal kitchen. Every pod is provided with 100% cotton sheets, pillow, duvets, luxurious towels, a thick Welsh blanket and hot water bottle. Each also has a Smart TV and radio, a bucket of logs, bedside tables made from tree trunks, bedside lamps and two chairs. A welcome hamper stocked with local Welsh produce is also included in your pod. Guests will have access to a microwave, toaster, gas hob, sink, freezer, large fridge, washing machine and tumble dryers in the communal kitchen. Or, in your pod you will find a mini fridge, cutlery, crockery and a kettle so you don't need to miss out on your morning brew. Outside of your pod there is a decking area with steps to a grass area with a picnic bench, fire pit and BBQ. Charcoal and logs are on sale in the communal kitchen. Or, if you would prefer to be a bit more social there is a large communal fire pit in the centre. The site advises you to bring a torch for the evenings, sensible footwear in case the field is muddy, a hair dryer, beach towels if you're planning on spending a day at the seaside, food and drink, wipes and tea towels. Dogs are more than welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two permitted per pod for an additional cost. Your pod includes a fire pit and BBQ, please note you are not permitted to bring your own.
