The camping pod is an ideal option for any guests who are looking to give camping a go but don't want to invest in all of the gear yet! Things are kept simple, like the outdoor dining tent, so you can still enjoy the pleasures of camping! Sleeping up to five on a double bed, single bed and a sofa bed which pulls out into a small double. Bottom sheets and mattress protectors are provided but you will need to bring your own bedding. There is a chest of drawers inside the pod and there are curtains and blinds to block out the morning light from the French doors and window too. Outside the pod is a scout-style tent which houses cooking equipment, a table and chairs so you can dine al fresco whilst being sheltered from any adverse weather. Washing facilities are nearby in the communal amenity block, please remember to bring your own towels and toiletries as these are not included. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you for your stay in the pod, the site just asks that they are kept on a lead and not left unattended in the pod. Percy's Paddock is an enclosed area onsite where dogs can be let off lead. Either bring your own BBQ and borrow blocks from the site to ensure it doesn't damage the grass, or hire a fire pit from the site and buy some logs and marshmallows for a traditional campfire evening! In addition to the camping pod there is also 45 large grass pitches and a pre-pitched tent. The site offers some catering options if you don't feel like cooking. There's BBQ night on Fridays, just make sure you book by the Wednesday before, you can also pick up fresh croissants and pain au chocolat every morning - just let the site know the night before! On Sundays, there are even cooked breakfast rolls on offer!
