About the site

This scenic site sits right by the calm waters of Loch Shieldaig, on the famous NC500 route. The setting is peaceful with beautiful views across the water and some of the best sunsets in the area. The Sea Eagle Glamping Pod is a cosy space for two people. Inside, it has a comfortable double bed with a mattress protector. Guests need to bring their own bedding and towels for this pod. The Sea Eagle Pod includes a simple kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, induction hob, kettle, toaster, pans and crockery for easy meals. There's also a smart TV, WiFi, a dining table with chairs and lighting, plus an outdoor hammock for unwinding in the open air. This pod does not have a private bathroom. Guests use the nearby shared toilet and shower facilities onsite. The Sildvik and Sunset Pods offer a luxury stay, sleeping two guests in a double bed with bedding and linen provided. These pods include extra comforts such as a sofa, Smart TV, underfloor heating, Bluetooth speakers and even a record player. Inside the Sildvik and Sunset pods, guests will find a full kitchenette with a Belfast sink, induction hob, combi oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Le Cruset kettle, toaster and all cooking equipment. Each pod also has its own ensuite bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin, towels, hair dryer and small extras. Outside, the pods open onto a private deck with outstanding waterside views. Guests are given wildlife binoculars, as this area looks across to Shieldaig Island, home to a resident pair of white-tailed sea eagles. These impressive birds can often be seen flying above the cabins. The site also has grass tent pitches and hardstanding touring pitches, some with optional electric hook-up. Campers and tourers share access to heated showers and toilets, free WiFi, a washing up area, a laundry room and a communal freezer for ice packs. Dogs are welcome in the Sea Eagle Pod and on the camping and touring pitches, so guests may see dogs around the site. The luxury Sildvik and Sunset pods are pet free.
