Hilly Cow Wigwams is set on a family-run working farm, a 45 minute drive from Edinburgh. There are 11 pods on offer to suit solo travellers, couples, friends and families, all with heating, cosy interiors and fire pits - just bring the marshmallows! You'll also have access to a fully equipped communal kitchen, games room and facility block. Little ones can enjoy playing in the play park, or meeting the ponies, horses, goats and sheep!

Whether you're searching for a slice of countryside life or wanting a convenient base to visit Edinburgh, this family-run working farm is an idyllic spot. Offering options suitable for solo travelers, couples, friends and families. There are four Standard Wigwam pods set in a row near the amenity block, sleeping up to five with a large sleeping platform at the rear for four, plus a single sleeping platform. Two of the pods are the Standard Plus Wigwam pods which offer the addition of a private toilet and shower hut just outside of the pod. The standard pods have access to the toilets and showers in the shared facility block. The three Wigwam Ensuite Glamping Pods are set directly opposite the amenity block and also sleep up to five with two double sleeping platforms, plus a single sleeping platform. These pods also have an ensuite loo and sink. Shower facilities are located in the shared amenity block. Inside all of the pods, you'll find an electric heater, mains electric for charging your devices and a kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave so you can prepare basic meals. If you're looking to cook whilst you're away you will have access to the communal kitchen area that has everything you need, just bring the food! Outside all of the pods, there is a decking area, a picnic bench and a fire pit for nights in the open, admiring the fabulous dark skies on offer. You can also hire a BBQ if you want to cook up some burgers and sausages. Please ensure that you bring all of your own bedding, linen and towels. The site offers double bedding for hire plus sleeping bags and pillows, or you can bring your own. One of the standard pods and one of the Ensuite pods have parking beside the pods, otherwise there is a car park where you can leave your vehicle. In terms of accessibility, the site is all one level and all of the pods have ramps that can be used to give the pods wheelchair access, plus all doors in the pods and amenity block are wide enough for wheelchair access. There is also an accessible bathroom in the main facility block with hand rails, a lower sink and stools. There are also four deluxe ensuite glamping Wigwam pods, some of these have hot tubs too! Up to two dogs are welcome to join you for your stay for a small extra charge. The site also offers a range of bookable extras to help you make your stay that extra bit special, from flowers, chocolates and fairy lights. Or, if you have little ones, you can ensure there is a high chair and a cot when you arrive! Set on a working farm, you have the opportunity to meet the horses, ponies, goats, sheep, hens and ducks! The site offers occasional farm tours where you can meet the newborn lambs, learn about farm life or even collect a fresh egg from the hens. Little ones can also play in the onsite play park!
