The Peacock camping pod is set in a secluded area of the site and offers a weather-proof alternative to camping, it even has a private wood-fired hot tub! This working farm is the perfect spot for your next family getaway, with Happy Mount Park within 35 minutes and Blackpool, the Forest of Bowland, and sandy beaches within half an hour there is plenty to do and see! You can even purchase food for the friendly sheep next door! The Peacock camping pod is a great weather-proof alternative to camping and is set in a secluded area next door to the main campsite. Set on a croft with trees surrounding the border, mown grass, and a fruit tree in the centre you will have your own private space to enjoy some quality family time. Sleeping up to four with a double bed and a set of twin beds on comfy mattresses, ideal for a family of four., the interior is kept simple with under-bed storage, a fridge, and a kettle. Please bring your own bedding and linen as this is not included in your pod. The pod has an electric heater, sensory lighting, and a freeview TV so you can enjoy cosy evenings tucked up in bed after a busy day of exploring the Lancashire countryside. Outside of the pod is a decking area with a table and chairs which then steps down to a wood-chip area with a picnic bench, a gazebo, and a tripod BBQ and fire pit so you can still enjoy traditional campfire cooking. At the back of your pod you'll find your very own wood-fired hot tub which can seat up to two. You will also be provided with firelighters, kindling and firewood which is stored in the large container by the hot tub. If you need more wood it is available to purchase from the honesty shack. The campsite is also home to around 20 non electric camping pitches and two bell tents set in a wildflower meadow. There are pitches to suit solo travellers, tents, and campervans. Shower and toilet facilities are 40m away from the pod, and are shared with those staying on the camping pitches and in the bell tents. The pod is dog friendly with up to two dogs permitted per pod. The site backs onto young woodland with walking trails where your dog can be let off lead. Whilst onsite, please ensure that your dogs are kept on the lead and not left unattended. Please remember to bring your bedding, linen and towels plus your toiletries, provisions and any cooking equipment you may need if you are wanting to self-cater. The pod includes a BBQ and a fire pit. You will be provide with stone flags to put underneath the BBQ and fire pit.
