About the site
Tucked away in seven acres of landscaped grounds, this is a peaceful spot just 15 minutes from the centre of York. It's a great base for exploring the city, with a bus stop only a 15 minute walk away with routes straight into town. The site's two glamping cabins are perfect for families, sleeping up to four with a pull-down double bed, a single bed, and a bunk above with a removable ladder. All bedding is provided, along with fresh linen, mattress protectors, and handy extras like a tea towel, washing up sponge and shower mat. Inside, the cabins have everything you need for a comfy break, including a small kitchen area with a hob, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee supplies. There's also a folding table for meals, heating to keep you warm, a TV/DVD player, and your own ensuite bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. Outside each cabin is a private decked area with garden furniture, a lovely place to enjoy your morning cuppa. The site has a great range of facilities. Kids will enjoy the play park and goal wall, while the games room and book swap corner offer fun for rainy days. There's a handy shop onsite, along with a laundry room. BBQs are welcome on site, but they must be raised off the ground (stands can also be borrowed from reception). Open fires are not allowed. Alongside the cabins, there are also a selection of touring pitches and a converted horsebox. While pets aren't allowed inside the glamping cabins, dogs are welcome on the touring pitches, so you might spot a few pups around the site.
