This idyllic glamping site is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway to the Yorkshire countryside with the North Pennines, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks all within easy reach. The market town of Richmond is also within a 15 minute drive with a great range of pubs, shops and cafes. There are nine ensuite glamping pods onsite, split into two areas to cater for guests who are bringing their dogs and those who are travelling without. The six Foxwood pods are dog friendly whilst the three Quarry pods do not allow dogs. Each pod features an open plan interior and can sleep up to two guests on a comfortable double bed with a Yorkshire made mattress, cotton bed linen is also provided. Each is also fitted with an electric heater and a Smart TV with a DVD player - great for cosy nights! All pods come with equipped kitchenettes including a fridge with a freezer box, microwave, two ring hob, toaster and kettle. All of your tableware, crockery and utensils are also provided. The Foxwood pods have a table and chairs with some bench seating towards the front and back of the pod. The Quarry pod has a dining table with velvet bench seating around it. Towards the back of the pods is a door that leads to your ensuite, the Foxwood pods have a spacious wet room with a loo, shower, sink and heated towel rail whilst the Quarry pods have a modern travertine tile bathroom and a walk-in rainfall shower. Towels are included in your stay. Outside each of the pods is a patio area where you will have your own picnic bench, fire pit with swing grill and a Finnish wood-fired hot tub that is heated for your arrival. A great place to sit back and reminisce on the day's adventures with a glass of your favourite tipple. Logs and fire starters are also provided. Guests also have access to 'The Field' a large outdoor space that can be accessed via a short walk through the woodlands, here there are picnic benches and two acres of space for walking your four-legged friend! The site also has 'The Sauna' which is complete with a private outdoor shower, decking and sun loungers which can be hired by the hour during your stay.
