About the site
Escape to this gorgeous corner of West Scotland and immerse yourself in nature at this idyllic setting with sheltered woodland on one side, and the River Eachaig on the other. You'll also be within easy reach of Loch Eck and Dunoon too. There are 14 Forest Pods on offer, nine of which are dog friendly and have the addition of an electric hot tub, and five of which are pet free and do not have a hot tub. All of the pods are fully furnished and equipped with central heating and double glazing to keep you cosy all year round. The pods each sleep up to four, the pet friendly pods have a double bed on a mezzanine level, and a wall-mounted pull down double bed so that you can fold it away in the daytime to maximise the space. The pet free pods have a king-sized bedroom and a double sofa bed. All of your bedding and linen are included. You can self-cater during your stay as the pods have fully equipped kitchenettes with an under-the-counter fridge, a four-ring gas hob, a gas oven, a microwave, tableware, cutlery, and glasses. There is also a table and chairs in the living area where you can enjoy your meal. The living area has a Smart TV so that you can enjoy cosy nights in watching your favourite shows and films, as well as free WiFi so that you can stay connected. There is also an ensuite with a shower, loo, and sink. Towels are included. Double sliding doors take you to your private decking area with a table and chairs. The pet friendly pods have the addition of an electric hot tub. There are also communal fire pits around the site for nights around the campfire toasting marshmallows. The pods have private parking. The dog friendly pods allow up to two dogs to join you for your stay. In addition to the Forest Pods, there are a range of luxury cottages and holiday homes onsite. Open fires are not permitted, but there are communal fire pits around the site, and BBQs that are raised off the ground are permitted. Sorry, no disposable BBQs.

Are the pods at Stratheck Holiday Park dog friendly?
Nine of the pods are dog friendly allowing up to two dogs to join you for your stay. If you are bringing a pod please ensure that you select the correct pod when booking. The dog friendly pods have hot tubs too. Please note that there is a small additional charge for bringing dogs and they must be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
Does my pod at Stratheck Holiday Park include a BBQ or fire pit Or will I need to bring my own?
Your pod doesn't include a BBQ or fire pit, but there are communal fire pits around the site for toasting marshmallows. You are welcome to bring a BBQ as long as it is raised off the ground. Disposable BBQs are not allowed.
