Set on a working farm in a peaceful corner of the Northern Lake District with lots of Wainwrights on your doorstep. You'll have views of the farm fields from your pod so can watch the sheep and cows graze. There is also a bed and breakfast onsite so there will be other guests around. The glamping pod is fully insulated and complete with underfloor heating that will keep you toasty even in the chillier months. The pod is nestled in a corner of the farmyard next to a stream to give you the experience of staying on a farm whilst still having a peaceful base to return to. The interiors are open plan and feature a double bed that will be made up for your arrival, there is also a sofa and smart TV towards the front of the pod, ideal after a long day of walking! You will also have a breakfast bar for eating. There is a mini kitchen in the pod which is complete with a microwave, kettle, toaster, a small fridge and crockery and utensils so you have the supplies for basic cooking. You will need to bring toiletries, a torch and food if you are self-catering. Or if you prefer to eat out there are a couple of country pubs just a 30 minute walk away. There is an optional breakfast hamper available too. The pod has lighting and electric sockets so you can use your appliances or charge any devices, there is also WiFi available. Parking is available beside the pod. Outside of the pod is a small veranda with a picnic bench, perfect for admiring the views of the hay meadows and lambing fields. Or, at night you'll be able to stargaze, and if you are really lucky you might be able to spot the Northern Lights. You can also hire a fire pit/BBQ if you wish to toast marshmallows or cook over the fire. Explore the Wainwrights from the farmgate with Carrock Fell, High Pike and Bowscale Tarn all within walking distance of the farm. Or, head to Ullswater which will be 20 minutes by car. Do note that the pod is dog free due to the working farm location.
