About the site
Escape to the hills of St Austell, at this family-run camping and glamping site overlooking Carlyon Bay Harbour. Set on a working farm you'll be surrounded by fields and farm animals, perfect for walks or meeting a horse or two! The campsite is kept small and simple with five non electric grass pitches, four bell tents and two barrel-shaped camping pods. All guests have access to the facility block, plus there are battery packs available for phone charging! The two barrel pods are set at the top of the site so boast the best views over the harbour, countryside and coast. They are perfect for either couples, or a family of four with a double bed and two single beds which fold away into benches for the daytime. Towels, duvets and pillows are included but you will need to either hire linen or bring your own. The pods also have a pull out dining table so you can enjoy a meal or a game of cards all together. The pods even have a low voltage electric supply so you can keep your devices charged. There are curtains to block the morning light from the window at the back and the glass panes in the front door. Outside the barrel pods, you'll find seating which is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening tipple, or for watching the sun set over the sea. Facilities are shared with all guests onsite and are just a short walk away. There are a range of bookable extras on offer to make your stay that extra bit special, from breakfast hampers, wine and nibbles hampers, a BBQ pack, a S'mores kit and fire pits for hire! Or, feel free to bring along your own BBQ or fire pit. Dogs are prohibited from the site.

Barrel shaped camping pods with a double bed and two pull out single beds which fold into bench seating during the day. Duvets and pillows are provided but please hire bedding or bring your own. Fold away dining table, low voltage electric sockets plus a lockable door with glass panes with curtains to block morning light. Outside is a seating area. Shared facilities are nearby, towels are provided. Parking is available by your pod. Dogs welcome.
