About the site
A peaceful base for exploring the charming city of York. Famous for its cobbled streets and rich history, there are plenty of nearby attractions to enjoy including York Minster, the National Railway Museum York and The York Dungeon. There are four unfurnished camping pods onsite, each measuring 2.2m x 2.5m. The pods are kept simple with the aim of providing a weatherproof all year round camping experience. Guests will still need to bring along all of their own camping gear including beds, bedding and cooking equipment. Each pod allows up to two guests with two double electric sockets, lighting, heating, a rear window, blinds and UPVC doors. You are welcome to bring along all of your own furniture and finishing touches to make the place your own during your stay! Outside of your pod is a private decking and picnic bench for al fresco dining. A double socket can be found outside too. Pod guests will have access to the shared campsite facilities nearby which include toilets, wetroom showers and a washing up area. Evenings can be spent cooking up a BBQ, but please ensure it is raised from the ground. Do note, open fires are not permitted. The pods are dog free but there may be some pups around the site as the pitches are pet friendly.
