Bowland Lakes Leisure Village is the perfect destination for keen anglers and adventurers set beside the River Wyre with large lakes and ponds onsite and an array of walking and cycling routes on your doorstep! There are four unfurnished camping pods as well as some static caravans, lodges and shepherd's huts at this dog and family friendly site. You'll be 35 minutes from the Lake District and Blackpool and Lancaster will be 20 minutes by car!

About the site

A hassle-free holiday awaits, this dog friendly site is perfectly situated for an adventurous holiday. Set alongside the River Wyre, this site has large lakes and small ponds onsite for anglers or the fells and Wainwrights of the Lake District are within a 35 minute drive away for keen walkers. There are four camping pods onsite measuring 7.5ft x 9ft with 9ft of head space available, the interior is unfurnished but there is space to sleep up to three (two adults and one child). Please bring your own beds, bedding and linen. Inside there is lighting, electric so you can stay connected and an electric heater to keep you cosy. If you wish to cook remember your cooking/kitchen equipment or bring a BBQ and cook up a storm - there are picnic benches outside your pod for al fresco dining too! Just please ensure that BBQs are used away from grassed areas, there are also BBQs available to purchase from reception. Fire pits are not permitted. Facilities are located in the shared facility block just a short walk away, towels and toiletries are not provided so please remember to bring your own. There are also holiday lodges, static caravans and shepherd's huts onsite. Dogs are welcome to join you with up to two pups permitted per pod for an extra charge, do note that breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not allowed onsite. There is one car parking space beside each camping pod.
