25 minutes from the Peak District National Park, and ten minutes from Ripley and Alfreton

About the site

Head to Derbyshire to explore the Peak District National Park, wander the charming streets of Ripley, and stroll along the Cromford Canal. This caravan park offers a convenient location just 15 minutes from the M1 for camping, touring, and glamping! There are ten barrel camping pods, set in their own secluded woodland area of the site. The pods sleep up to four on fixed beds and mattresses. You will need to bring all of your sleeping equipment, including linen and bedding, or a sleeping bag! Inside the pod, you'll find a heater, a table, box stool chairs, and electric plug sockets. There is a lockable door at the entrance to the pod and blinds to block out the morning light. Outside the pod is a small astro turf area and space for one car to be parked. You might want to bring your camping chairs so that you can make the most out of your countryside views! Your facilities are in the main amenity block by the camping and touring pitches, which is a short walk away from the pods. Sorry, dogs are not permitted in the pods, but the camping and touring pitches are dog friendly, so you may still see some dogs around site. Raised BBQs are welcome, but sorry no campfires or fire pits. Please remember to bring your usual camping equipment (minus the tent!), bedding, towels, camping chairs, and toiletries. There are over 200 camping and touring pitches in the main part of the site.
