Nestled on the northern fringes of the Lake District National Park, Cherry Trees Farm makes a perfect base for exploring the Cumbrian countryside. Offering grass pitches for tents and two wooden camping pods with their own private, blow up hot tub, you can get cosy and enjoy a warm soak while taking in the beautiful views over the North-western Fells. Each pod also has its own private compost loo and hot shower. Dogs are welcome too.

About the site

Nestled in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside with views across the North-western Fells, this site is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Spend days exploring the Lake District National Park by foot or bike then enjoy a relaxing soak in your own hot tub. There are two camping pods onsite featuring a double bed with bedding and towels included and a small kitchenette with a sink with cold water. Basic kitchen utensils are supplied and there is a camping gas stove outside, great for al fresco dining! Each pod has access to their own private compost loo and hot shower and even a blow up hot tub. There are also a number of non electric grass pitches on the site for campers. Keswick is just a 30 minute drive away, offering charming shops, scenic walks and water activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding. Spend an evening cosied up around a campfire or enjoy a summers day BBQ. Please note, campfires and BBQs must be raised above the ground. Dogs are welcome so be sure to bring your pup along too!

Facilities for campers are contained in a separate unit and include two hot showers, three flushing toilets, three sinks with hot and cold water and an external washing up area under a canopy. Each camping pod has its own shower, toilet and kitchen area, along with a Lay-Z Spa hot tub.

The closest pubs are The Old Crown at Hesket Newmarket and The Oddfellows Arms Caldeck, just a short ten minute drive away. For food shopping, there is an Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury's less than a 20 minute drive away.

Site rules

Guests are able to check-in from 3pm until 10pm, if you are going to be delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 11am on your final day.
When you arrive please contact the number on your booking confirmation.
Yes! Dogs are more than welcome to join you with two permitted in each pod free of charge! Please ensure that your dog is kept on the lead and supervised at all times. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not accepted.
Your pod does not have a BBQ or fire pit, but you are welcome to bring your own just ensure that they are raised off the ground to not scorch the grass.

There are ten non electric grass pitches in addition to the camping pods.
One car is permitted to be parked by your pod, additional vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
No, sorry toiletries are not included in your pod so please remember to bring your own.
