About the site

In a prime location for Lake District adventures, this charming rural campsite is surrounded by scenic walking routes and top attractions. Discover Lakeland Motor Museum, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, Lakes Aquarium, National Trust - Fell Foot and Lake Windermere all within a ten minute drive! The site is home to two cosy glamping cabins offering a separate double bedroom and seating in the living area that converts into three small single beds, suitable for children up to 10. Don't forget to bring your own bedding and linen as these are not provided. The main living area also includes lighting, electric sockets and USB points. There is even a central open BBQ/fire pit for cooking and keeping you warm, along with a surrounding seating area for dining. Step outside to your own picnic table, ideal for relaxed meals in the fresh air. Shared toilet, shower and washing up facilities are just a short walk away. The site is also home to camping/touring pitches, a shepherd's hut and a gypsy caravan, with these guests having access to the communal facilities too. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, so your furry friend can join the adventure too.
