Enjoy a romantic getaway with your four-legged friend in tow at this idyllic glamping site five minutes from Uppingham and ten minutes to Rutland Water. Set next door to Brook Farm you can watch horses from your pod or go and meet the Swiss Valais sheep! There are two ensuite glamping pods and one shepherd's hut set in a secluded, car-free meadow so you have space to unwind and recharge. Each unit is set apart for your privacy and in their own enclosed gardens so your four-legged friend can run around stress free. The two glamping pods named Bumblebee and Woodpecker are fully insulated, have double glazed windows and underfloor heating to keep you cosy throughout the seasons. There is a double bed for sleeping, bedding and linen are not provided, so you will need to bring your own or add it on as an extra to your booking. The interior of the pods are open plan and feature a leather sofa, a fan, a dining table and side table, plus a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering. You will have a fridge/freezer, two ring hob, combi oven/microwave, tea towels, condiments and utensils. The pods have ensuite bathrooms with a flushing toilet, electric shower, heated towel rail, hairdryer, shower gel and hand wash. Please bring your own towels, or hire them for an extra cost. Outside the pods is a decking area and patio space with a picnic bench, sun loungers, coffee table and chairs. There is a fire pit for relaxing under the stars, toasting marshmallows and cracking open a bottle of your favourite tipple. The gardens are enclosed with stock fencing that is 1m high for Woodpecker pod and 1.5m high for Bumblebee pod so dogs can run free without worry. The pods are dog friendly with up to two dogs permitted per pod, your canine companion will be provided with dog bowls, mats, a doggy tipee and toys. Just be sure to bring them a towel! No need to pack board games or books as there are some supplied in the pod, as well as local walking guides and a torch.
