About the site
Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Exmoor National Park and just a ten minute drive from the beach, this site is fun for all the family (even the dog)! You can enjoy views of the Bristol Channel right from one of the site's cosy camping pods. You can either opt for a camping pod with views of the valley or direct views of the sea. Both options are furnished the same and are fully insulated and heated. Inside you will find a comfy double bed, pre-made for your arrival with all bedding provided. There is also a sofa and bedside tables. You can even order champagne on arrival if you're looking to kick the holiday off in style! For your morning brew, tea and coffee facilities including a kettle and a small fridge are provided. Outside you will find a gravelled area with a picnic bench facing the views, along with bricks that can be used for raising your BBQ off the ground. A great spot for some al fresco dinner! Each camping pod also has its own private parking space and all shared amenities are nearby. All bedding is provided but please ensure you bring your own towels The site also boasts its very own shop offering all your camping essentials from toiletries to gas canisters along with locally sourced produce like eggs, sausages, bread, cider, preserves, ice creams and spirits. If you're after a tasty treat, the site also bakes fresh bread and pastries which can be ordered from reception. There is a lovely communal lawn overlooking the sea with picnic benches that guests can enjoy. This site is sure to be a hit with your pooch with a designated dog walking meadow, dog shower and doggy ice cream that can be purchased from the shop! The site also offers a range of camping and touring pitches as well as static caravans and holiday lodges. This site has won a range of awards including awards from Visit Devon and Visit South West. This is a dog friendly site however, the camping pod with sea views does not allow dogs. BBQs are allowed but please make sure they are raised off the ground. Sorry, open fires are not allowed.
