About the site
Family and dog friendly glamping tucked away in the trees on the shores of Loch Tay is a great spot for families or couples wanting an outdoor adventure with scenic countryside walks on your doorstep. There are grass pitches for tents or tourers or cosy glamping options for those wanting to stay sheltered from the elements. There's glamping options for couples and families, both also dog friendly so the whole family can join the adventure. The wooden camping cabins can sleep up to two or four guests and have an octagon-style shape, the two person cabin has two single beds and a heater whilst the four person cabin has underfloor heating, a double bed and two singles. Both pods are equipped with electric, a kettle, a mini fridge, a toaster, a microwave, cutlery and crockery so you still have some home comforts whilst staying in the great outdoors. There is even a TV with a DVD player for cosy nights in and the windows in the pods all have roller blinds so there doesn't have to be early wake-ups if you don't want them! Outside you'll find a bench and a porch area for admiring the starry night skies. You will still need to bring your bedding, towels and toiletries with you plus cooking equipment if you will need it! You will have access to the basic campsite WC and shower facilities, also shared with guests staying on the camping and touring pitches. Here there are hair dryers, shaver points, a washing up area and laundry room. There is an onsite play park for little ones to let off some steam and an onsite cafe open Thursday to Monday mornings serving hot drinks, hot and cold filled rolls and toasties. For days out you can walk to the shores of Loch Tay and for keen anglers there are fishing permits that can be purchased from the site. Or, the sister site is within walking distance where there is a restaurant and watersports available to book. Dogs are also welcome to join you for your stay with plenty of countryside trails on your doorstep.
