About the site
Stay just ten minutes from the Lake District National Park for a fun-filled and action-packed holiday with all of the family. This site is set on a family-run 250 acre private country estate with a range of accommodation options plus a venue for parties and weddings. The ensuite glamping cabin sleeps up to six with a double bedroom, another double room on a mezzanine level and a double pull out sofa bed for little ones. Bedding is provided. Plus, the pod has a panoramic roof, perfect for admiring the dark skies of the Lake District. An open-plan living area is the perfect spot for enjoying quality time with the family whether that's the evening meal or a competitive game around the table. The living area has a dining area and WiFi. The pods are heated and fully insulated, making them cosy for all year round stays. The fully equipped kitchenette has an oven, hob, fridge with a small freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, crockery, pots, pans, cutlery, sink, bin and microwave. You will also have an ensuite with a shower, toilet and wash basin. Towels are provided, although you may wish to bring extra for the hot tub. Outside your pod is a private decking area with a picnic table and BBQ, you will also have an enclosed garden with an electric hot tub too. You are also welcome to hire a fire pit from the site. So, sit back and relax on your decking admiring the views towards Solway Firth. Little ones would love to join in on the feeding sessions with the onsite animals, run around in the adventure playground or challenge you to a game of giant draughts. The site also offers Bushcraft sessions and Woodland Warrior laser tag at an extra cost. For your evening meals you have the option to whip up something tasty in your pod or trial something from one of the pop up food trucks that visit the site during the school and bank holidays. The barn also opens up a bar if you fancy a tipple! The site offers a range of other accommodation too, including grass and hardstanding pitches, bell tents, lodges, cottages and holiday lets. The site also hosts weddings, parties and private events, during these events the bar in the barn and the pop up trucks may be closed. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you for your stay.
