In the heart of the national park, you will be located for mountain climbs, watersports and more!

About the site
A great base for outdoor adventures. Located in the heart of the Lake District National Park, this family and dog friendly site is located near the edge of Windermere, with an onsite activity centre for education residential visits too. The site is home to a total of nine pods sleeping either two, three or five guests. Each pod includes single beds with mattresses, with the five person pods also including a single bunk bed. Do note, bedding and linen are not provided so guests must bring their own. Interiors are kept simple with two plug sockets, 2 USB charging points and LED lighting. There is also under bed heating to help on those cooler nights. A lockable door will lead you out onto a gravel outdoor space with a picnic bench for enjoying meals in the open. Shared heated toilet and shower facilities can be found a short walk away. There is also a communal kitchen area which provides use of a microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and both indoor and outdoor sinks for doing your washing up. Guests can also bring along their own raised BBQ and camping stove to use outside of the pods. All of the pods are dog friendly too, with up to two pups permitted per pod.
