About the site
A great location to unwind or spend days exploring nearby York, only a 20 minute drive away. The site is surrounded by peaceful countryside, set around a scenic pond, perfect for wildlife spotting. The Chaplins Club and Glencroft pods feature a separate living and bedroom area, plus the addition of Bluetooth speakers. The bedroom includes a double bed, bedside tables, a mirror and TV, with an ensuite leading off. Alternatively, Bowcliffe is an open plan pod with a fitted double bed and ensuite accessed via the back wall. All of the pods can sleep up to four with a double sofa bed in the living area. All of your bedding and bed linen is provided for your stay. For all of your cooking needs, there is a fitted kitchenette with a microwave, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. Chaplin and Glencorft also included a grill. Pots, pans, cutlery, wine glasses and all other essentials will be provided for your stay too, along with a table and chairs for dining. Each pod has its own modern ensuite bathroom kitted out with a flushing loo, hand basin, heated towel rail and shower. Towels and a hairdryer are included for your stay. For staying warm, even in the winter months, the pods come with dual zone underfloor heating, double glazing and full insulation. LED lighting and USB sockets are included, and there is a Smart TV for your entertainment too. Outside of each pod is a private decking area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. A gas BBQ and fire pit (with one basket of kindling provided) means you can also enjoy cooking outdoors. A private jacuzzi with robes included means you can enjoy the ultimate night under the stars! A welcome basket will be ready for you on arrival, providing you with the essentials like milk, tea and coffee. You can spoil yourself or a loved one with bookable extras including prosecco, cake and balloons. The pods are dog friendly, with up to two canine companions welcome per pod.
